Bristol Joins the National Fisheries Institute (NFI)

Bristol Seafood joins the National Fisheries Institute to support and promote education about seafood safety, sustainability, and nutrition.

PORTLAND, Maine, Mar. 10, 2015 Peter Handy, Vice President – Business Development, today announced that Bristol Seafood has joined the National Fisheries Institute (NFI).

The National Fisheries Institute is a non-profit organization whose primary focus is to educate individuals about seafood safety, sustainability, and nutrition. NFI members are committed to sustainable management and being stewards of our environment by endorsing the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Fisheries.

“We are pleased to have Bristol Seafood, a progressive and growing seafood company, join the National Fisheries Institute and look forward to working with them to further our mission,” said John Connelly, President of NFI.
