Bristol Teams With SeaShare to Fortify Food Banks

PORTLAND, Maine – November 2, 2016 – Bristol Seafood, a leading seafood processor and distributor in Southern Maine announced today it has joined ranks with fishermen, seafood companies, and logistics providers and distributors to meet the urgent need for nutrient-rich protein at food banks nationwide.

Together with the National Fisheries Institute Future Leaders Class of 2016, Bristol Seafood has produced a video in support of SeaShare. The “Every Dollar is Magic” video will build awareness of the scarcity of protein in food banks and help raise money to expand SeaShare’s efforts.  A link to the video can be found here https://www.seashare.org/sharetheplate.

“We are pleased to have an opportunity to provide nutritious, sustainable seafood to those who need it most,” said Peter Handy, Bristol’s President and CEO.
